Rashford missed United's fixture with Bayern Munich in the week as they were unceremoniously dumped from the Champions League. The forward had been suffering with the vomiting and diarrhoea-inducing bug, norovirus, but has since returned to training ahead of United's tricky trip to Anfield. His health will continue to be monitored by the club's medical staff, with his place in the starting line-up uncertain.

United travel to Anfield for the first time since last season's 7-0 thrashing and will be hoping to avoid any kind of repeat humiliation. Rashford featured in the drubbing and will be hoping he will be well enough to make amends tomorrow afternoon. United enter the game as heavy underdogs and their fans will be desperate to leave Anfield with anything – even if just their dignity this time.
DID YOU KNOW?
Rashford has scored just two goals in the Premier League this season, one of which was a penalty. By this stage last season, he had four. He would then go on to score 10 in 10 games after the World Cup.
