Tottenham Hotspur have made an offer for GNK Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Dani Olmo, that is according to a report from L’Esportiu via @DailyHotspur.
The Spanish international is an attacking minded midfield player and could be seen as a potential successor to Christian Eriksen, whose contract runs out at the end of the season (Transfermarkt).
He has been enjoying a very good season in Croatia, scoring eight goals and providing seven assists in 22 appearances in all competitions (Transfermarkt).
The 21-year-old is thought to be keen on a move away from Dinamo Zagreb as he looks to push his claim for a place in the Spain squad at Euro 2020.
It is believed that a fee of €35 million (£29.8m) is what the Croatian outfit are looking for and Spurs are likely to face competition for his signature with Yahoo Sport reporting that Barcelona have already submitted a formal bid for the player.
Olmo would certainly be a popular addition if the north London club were to sign him, with plenty of Spurs fans taking to Twitter to admit they would love to see him join.
