The hosts turned in an absolutely incredible performance against a dire Blaugrana on Saturday
Hansi Flick picked a rotated Barcelona XI against Osasuna on Saturday night but paid dearly for it, as the Camp Nou side were beaten 4-2 in sensational circumstances.
After just 18 minutes, Osasuna had the lead, as Ante Budimir powered a header into the top corner after overpowering Pau Cubarsi. Before the half-hour mark, Bryan Zaragoza added a second, as Osasuna won the ball in midfield, and a superb through ball was played behind Sergi Dominguez and Jules Kounde, for the winger to finish.
At half-time, Barcelona chose not to ring the changes, sending the same XI out to try to spark a comeback. Pau Victor got the message within eight minutes, shooting from range, but he was indebted to some terrible goalkeeping as Sergio Herrera just seemed to palm the ball into the bottom corner.
Then, Hansi Flick called for both Raphinha and Lamine Yamal to rise from the bench but Osasuna swiftly extended their lead from the penalty spot after Dominguez brought down Budimir in the area; the striker dusted himself down to score a second and his side's third.
And with five minutes remaining, Osasuna scored a brilliant fourth, Abel Bretones powering an effort into the top corner from range.
Yamal scored a long-range consolation to save Barca from a result that would certainly have been seen as humiliating.
GOAL rates Barcelona's players from El Sadar…
AFPGoalkeeper & Defence
Inaki Pena (5/10):
Well beaten by all three of Osasuna's goals. Was playing behind a defence that struggled immensely to deal with the home side's press.
Jules Kounde (4/10):
Couldn't cover to stop Zaragoza after Osasuna split Barcelona's defence in two. Zaragoza tortured him throughout.
Sergi Dominguez (3/10):
Caught flat-footed before Zaragoza scored and made a rash challenge to concede the penalty. A terrible performance.
Pau Cubarsi (4/10):
Beaten all ends up in the air by Budimir for the goal and throughout the game; he couldn't handle the Croatian at all.
Gerard Martin (4/10):
Dribbled past more than once and struggled to impact the game in the final third. All of Barcelona's defenders struggled throughout, but Martin will have been glad to be subbed.

Pablo Torre (4/10):
Struggled immensely in midfield for the hour he was on the pitch. Just could not get up to the speed of the game. Subbed at 2-1.
Eric Garcia (5/10):
Passed the ball well but he wilted under Osasuna's pressure. Had precious little chance to push on into the final third.
Pedri (5/10):
Had a lot more to do defensively than he usually does and it affected his passing radar, which was uncharacteristically off. Barca had a lack of rhythm as a result.

Ferran Torres (5/10):
Very direct in his running and troubled Osasuna's defence repeatedly in the first half. Hit the post in injury time. At least he kept trying things.
Robert Lewandowski (3/10):
Missed a big chance at 2-0 but that was essentially his only meaningful touch. He went missing.
Pau Victor (6/10):
Peripheral in the first half but scored in the second, his shot squirming through Osasuna goalkeeper Herrera. Subbed.

Raphinha (5/10):
On for Torre. Did nothing to change the tide.
Lamine Yamal (7/10):
Replaced Victor. Scored, because of course he scored. A brilliant strike too, from range, but the game was gone.
Marc Casado (5/10):
On for Lewandowski. Equally anonymous.
Alejandro Balde (N/A):
Replaced Martin. Had no time to impact the game.
Hansi Flick (3/10):
His winning streak is over. He risked rotation and paid for it. This was more than a disjointed Barcelona performance, it was roundly terrible. He will have to conduct a lengthy inquest, but the main problem stems from the team selection.
