As reported by The Scottish Sun, Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos has this week been the subject of a £6.5m bid from Chinese Super League side GZ Evergrande.
The Colombian youth international has been one of the Light Blues’ most important players this season, scoring 13 goals and providing two assists since his move from Finnish side HJK Helsinki last summer.
Understandable then that Rangers fans are desperate for him to stay beyond the transfer window, with many believing he is absolutely crucial to their quest for major silverware in the second half of the season.
Graeme Murty has added attacking talent like Jamie Murphy and Jason Cummings to his squad this month, but the loss of Morelos would be a blow to his starting eleven given the 21-year-old has made 27 appearances already this term.
Supporters took to Twitter in the wake of the rumours to urge Rangers to hold firm and not sell him, at least until the summer.
