The 23-year-old joined Milan this summer in a deal worth €39 million (£34m/$46m) after drawn out negotiations to the point where the player went on strike in an effort to force a move to San Siro. The midfielder made his debut for Milan in the league against Cremonese but has been sidelined now after a clash with Santiago Gimenez in training. The player has since shared a message on Instagram thanking Milan fans for their "incredible support" as he focuses on his recovery.

Jashari was signed with the expectation of taking on a pivotal role for Milan amid their midfield reinvention, with Luka Modric and Samuele Ricci also joining under new boss Massimiliano Allegri. The injury blow has unsettled the Rossoneri's transfer plans, with Yunus Musah's move to Atalanta possibly being put on hold.
