Alexander-Arnold being used in midfieldScholes thinks he should move backUrges Southgate to give youngsters a chanceWHAT HAPPENED?
The Three Lions head coach has been using Alexander-Arnold as a midfield partner for Declan Rice, but has come under fire for not changing things when they aren't working. Scholes believes the solution may be putting the Liverpool defender at left-back (despite the fact he plays on the right at club level), and giving both Manchester United wonderkid Kobbie Mainoo and Chelsea talisman Cole Palmer some minutes on the pitch.
